Spenard JazzFest continues its First Friday collaboration with the Anchorage Museum, nurturing creativity across art forms while celebrating Alaska's identity and values. Starting on the lawn and moving into the museum atrium and Pass the Mic exhibition on the third floor, Spenard JazzFest captures a broad culture of music, dance, and film from within the museum. This evening features performances by Aurora Nova, Pepper Kit, Witty Youngman, Kodi Hannah, Jacqtet, Anaya Latin Dance, and Endless Field.

Spenard JazzFest is a multidisciplinary arts festival that celebrates music across all genres, with one emphasis on jazz, and another on Alaska. JazzFest strives to nourish and root into the local community of music lovers and makers, as well as its supporters and audience through local performances. 

Performance Schedule

  • Front Lawn: 4:30-6:30 p.m.
  • Atrium: 7-9 p.m.
  • Third Floor, Pass The Mic: 7-9 p.m.
