On opening night, tour the new exhibition Cold War to the Cosmos: Distant Early Warning Systems and the Arctic. A member of Anchorage Museum staff will guide you through Cold War to the Cosmos, which examines the strategic significance of the Arctic during the Cold War and how the heightened tensions and military brinkmanship between the United States and the Soviet Union affected Alaskans.
