In-Person Event

Gather with squash enthusiasts and a few local permaculturists and learn how they have grown an abundance of gorgeous winter squash in our cold climate. Leslie Tose and Elisabeth Holmgren have become our local squash experts experimenting with different locations, varieties, curing techniques, and good old-fashioned trial and error to unlock the secrets of growing winter squash from seed to harvest. 

In partnership with Alaska Community Action on Toxics (ACAT) and Yarducopia, Theresa Brown will share a variety of recipes and samples to showcase many delicious ways to prepare and enjoy your squash bounty. Free, thanks to sponsorship by ACAT and Yarducopia. Registration recommended.
