
Cup’ik Grass Mat Weaving Workshop

Join Emily Johnston to learn how to weave a Cup'ik-style grass mat and a small tray. This workshop series takes place over two weekends. Participants must attend all four classes and bring a plastic trash bag, a small towel, a needle, and a thimble.
The materials fee is $40; registration is required. Registration covers all four sessions. Scholarships are available upon request. Contact Sierra Young at syoung@anchoragemuseum.org for scholarship requests.
