Join us in the Smithsonian Arctic Studies Center for a docent-led gallery hosting on Lingít and Athabascan clothing and ornamentation. The Lingít, Eyak, and various Athabascan peoples comprise a language family with members extending from Alaska to Arizona. In Alaska, Lingít indigenous peoples are originally from Southeastern Alaska, while Athabascans are primarily from Interior Alaska.
