Spring Break Camp: Birds & Dinosaurs (ages 10-12)
10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Thursday-Friday, March 13 – 14
Discovery Center, Art LabIn-Person Event
Before their extinction, dinosaurs reigned our planet for 165 million years. But are these intriguing animals really gone? During this two-day camp, kids ages 10-12 will investigate all things ‘dinosaurs’ using S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math)-based activities.
Campers will learn about birds, the dinosaur’s closest living relatives, and how they have adapted from the Cretaceous period through modern times. They will hone their observation skills and learn through various engaging hands-on activities. Drop off as early as 9:30 a.m.; pick up as late as 3:30 p.m. $120; $108 for museum members.
Registration closes Tuesday, March 11.
