ANC DESIGN WEEK: Land Imprint Garment Prototyping Workshop
10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22
Seed Lab, 111 W 6th Ave, Anchorage, AK 99501In-Person Event
Celebrate the connections between humans and the land with us during Anchorage Design Week, as we examine materials, narratives, landscapes, and local customs while considering the effects of climate on biodiversity. Join us for a workshop on prototyping garments that are designed to collect tangible imprints from the land, such as seeds. The prototyped garments will eventually become part of the SLOWWALK land imprint collection, showcasing the interplay between design, ecology, and storytelling.
Organized by PAD Foundation and szabadonbalaton, this Anchorage Design Week collaboration highlights innovative ways to reconnect people and landscapes in the face of a changing world.
Space is limited, Registration Recommended.
