Tatakizome is the Japanese art of transferring botanical dyes from flowers and leaves onto fabric by hammering them onto the surface. 

Join museum staff in a hands-on workshop and create your own botanical print. All materials will be provided, participants are encouraged to bring in their own clothing or textiles that they would like to dye. $20 materials fee, includes museum admission. Registration required.
