Live in the Planetarium

The electropop of Aspenyarrow on June 28 kicks off the museum’s summer “Live in the Planetarium” program. This Talkeetna/Anchorage-based duo combines layered beats with vocals. Full-dome visuals created specifically for the performance accompany their music. On July 26, Aural Imago electrifies the planetarium with kaleidoscopic sounds and image. Aural Imago’s soft sounds and drifting progressions create dreamy landscapes and their reflective lyrics offer an atmosphere for intimate listening. Closing the "Live in the Planetarium” series Aug. 16 is Chicago’s Haley Fohr and Cooper Crain, who team up for Wordless Music, a performance that uses improvisational techniques to present new sounds.
