WHAT WE ARE DOING IN RESPONSE TO COVID-19

March 10, 2020

In response to the 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), the Anchorage Museum is taking steps to ensure both the safety of our visitors and the enjoyment of our exhibitions and programs.

As a precautionary measure, an alcohol-based hand sanitizer is available at entry points and in areas throughout the Museum. We have also implemented extra cleanings of high-traffic areas to minimize any possible exposure risk.

The Museum will continue to monitor and follow the recommendations made by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and local and state authorities. We will announce any program or operational changes through all of our regular communications channels, including social media.

More information on COVID-19 may be found through the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Alaska Department of Health and social Services.
