Alaska Triennial
ALASKA TRIENNIAL
The Alaska Triennial (formerly Alaska Biennial) is a survey of contemporary art in Alaska open to artists across the state and connecting to artists across the region. The 2025 Alaska Triennial will be juried by Mary Bradshaw, Director of Visual Arts at the Yukon Arts Centre.
Please note: Formerly titled Alaska Biennial, this exhibition becomes a triennial in 2025, running every three years. The format change allows for longer exhibition runs and more considered programming and outreach. Alaska Biennial was presented non-juried in 2020 and 2022, providing an inclusive survey of art across the state. In response to artists’ feedback, this exhibition will be presented juried in its 2025 edition.
