Community Support
The Anchorage Museum at Rasmuson Center is dedicated to enhancing cultural, artistic and educational opportunities as well as developing strong community ties through active involvement with local organizations and events.
Types of donations
The Anchorage Museum typically makes in-kind donations of admit-one passes for general admission only. The museum makes donations to organizations and events in the following areas:
- Tourism/travel
- Education
- Arts/culture
- Non-profit
Donations may include museum passes for live/silent auctions or for admission for clients served by non-profit organizations serving people experiencing disabilities. The Anchorage Museum does not donate to individuals, sports events, religious or political organizations or to pageants.
Donation Items May Include:
Admit-one passes (value $20 each)
Two admit-one passes may be donated once per year to qualifying local non-profit organizations.
Criteria for Donations:
- All donation requests must be made in writing using the donation request form available online. Requests will not be filled over the phone.
- All requests must include all required information. Requests with missing information will not be reviewed.
- Requests for auction or special event donations must be made at least 30 days prior to the event.
- The Anchorage Museum will accept one donation request per organization per calendar year.
