Do photographs tell the truth? Does photography objectively record what passes in front of the camera lens? Join photographer Kyra Rice in this week long workshop for those interested in going beyond the mechanical technique of photography to explore the visual technique. In understanding how the elements of photography can be manipulated to capture a scene we are able to consciously control and communicate the meaning behind our photographs. After focusing on these elements of photography students will then be encouraged to use these techniques to pursue personal projects. Digital and film cameras welcomed.
